Chemistry is the search of ambrosia.
What we can not see, we study in Chemistry.
Sometimes, I say that where physics stops, Chemistry begins!
The world moves with the laws of Physics. But the soul (atman) of the world is Chemistry. The scope of Chemistry is basically atoms and molecules. All the concepts of chemistry move in and around atoms and molecules.
The history of Chemistry is ancient.
But what I feel is that Chemistry was not the part of Science earlier. It is the part of Philosophy. More or less, it is still a part of Philosophy.
Who has seen atoms or their constituents as protons, neutrons or electrons? Yet, we can not now alienate Chemistry from Science.
We can certainly not see atoms and molecules. But we can observe the different reactions occurring around us. Milk changes into curd. By cooking boiled rice is prepared. Vegetables get spoilt.
All these are chemical changes/ chemical reactions.
